I do not live in Texas, can I still adopt?

PRA looks at out of state adoption applications on a case-by-case basis.

Remote home visits can be conducted via FaceTime or a similar program by our Screening/Adoption Coordinator.

If approved, the applicant is responsible for coming to Austin to pickup the dog and for all costs associated with travel and transportation.

If for any reason the dog needs to be returned to PRA, the applicant will also be responsible for travel and expenses for returning the dog safely to Austin.
